BET ON COPA LIBERTADORES

Copa Libertadores Sao Paulo Fluminense Adriano DagobertoTonight, at the mythical Maracana Stadium – the biggest one in the world, Fluminense will have to beat Sao Paulo FC –the winner of the 2005 edition, to go to Copa Libertadores’ semi-final. Indeed during the first leg at Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo, Adriano had saved the “Tricolor” – Sao Paulo’s three colours are white, red and black, by scoring the only goal.

The famous striker has been loaned by Inter Milan and is strongly motivated to come back in the stadium of its beginning where he has scored so many goals for Flamengo. Despite their difficulties in the first two games of the Brazilian championship – the “Brasileiro”, Sao Paulo is an experienced team which is used of this kind of events. As the defender Alex Siva has reminded, his team is used playing in huge stadium – Sao Paulo’s stadium is the second largest in the world, and won’t feel the pressure of Fluminense’s noisy supporters in Rio de Janiero. A defeat seems therefore unlikely.

Moreover, as Sao Paulo won 1-0 at home, Fluminense is under pressure and will have to score during the second leg of this choc of the quarter of final. It seems thus reasonable to think that Sao Paulo will win: if Adriano or Dagoberto manages to score, Fluminense will have to score three times, which will let spaces for these gifted strikers… That is why betting on a victory of Sao Paulo 2-1 seems a very good deal: the odds are 9/1.
